Today, we have a growing pipeline of prodrug therapies in development, each designed to be a best-in-class therapy.

We are seeking a passionate IT Product Owner to join our growing team. As a key member of the Global IT team, you will play a crucial role in digitalizing our labs and research business functions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results. You will be part of the Lab IT Solutions Product team, alongside four colleagues based in Heidelberg, Germany. The team is known for their scientific understanding and for utilizing the latest trends in technology to enable business strategy. The team is fast-paced and collaborative. You will report to Jakob Monajemzadeh Thrane, People Leader in Global IT, and to Ivanna Rosendal, Global Head of Digitalization, from a functional perspective. Both are based at HQ in Hellerup, Denmark.

  1. Ensure that the scientists in our lab have a coherent technology offering across applications, instruments, tools, and data that evolves with their needs.
  2. Communicate closely and frequently with users and scientific leadership to understand what is most important for our R&D area, and translate that into actionable plans for the Lab IT team.
  3. Prioritize and manage the Lab IT team's backlog, actively removing impediments to technology delivery.
  4. Collaborate with other teams in our IT department to manage dependencies and align on priorities.

You hold a relevant academic degree – minimum a bachelor's degree – and have 5+ years of experience in a related role within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar environment.

Furthermore, you have:

  • A background enabling you to understand the work of a scientist in a lab.
  • Hands-on experience managing and developing a technology product portfolio.
  • Experience with product discovery and decision facilitation.
  • Proven success in delivering digital products and platforms.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, continuously improving practices.
  • Strong teamwork skills, innovation, curiosity, and a can-do attitude.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in an informal, open environment that values innovation and change.
  • The ability to be a self-starter, identifying opportunities and driving initiatives forward.
  • The capacity to balance short-term pragmatic solutions with long-term strategic planning to support growth.

Travel: 10 – 25 days per year
