Our products are known for withstanding extreme conditions, ensuring accuracy in critical applications like space exploration, automotive safety, and life-saving medical equipment. VPG also offers customized solutions for specialized needs, such as military defense and space missions.

What does the ROLE entail?
  • Managing the entire personnel administration, including contract creation, reference letters, change agreements, etc.
  • Maintaining and managing employee records in SuccessFactors and other internal HR systems
  • Administering end-to-end Time & Attendance processes
  • Gathering data, inputting information, and communicating with the Payroll provider
  • Communicating with relevant external local institutions
  • Managing the recruitment process across the EU region: creating job advertisements, reviewing applications, conducting kick-off meetings and interviews, and preparing job offers
  • Advising and supporting employees and local managers on labor law and HR-related issues (e.g., contracts, salaries, vacations, benefits, conflict mediation)
  • Managing the onboarding and offboarding processes, including arranging working equipment, liaising with IT, conducting regular meetings, exit interviews, and stay interviews
  • Promoting staff engagement and coordinating staff events to enhance motivation and morale
  • Working on special projects assigned by the Regional Senior HR Manager Europe, such as HR process optimization, culture change initiatives, and HR analytics
  • Assisting in implementing employee development and training programs
Requirements
What should YOU bring to the table?
  • A degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in HR, ideally as an HR Generalist or HR Specialist
  • Previous experience with the recruitment process from A to Z, preferably at an international level
  • Good knowledge of German labor law and personnel administration
  • Preferably some experience working in an international company
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software
  • Good written and spoken skills in German and English (at least B2 level); knowledge of additional languages is a plus
  • Soft skills: problem-solving ability, empathy, adaptability, resilience, initiative, and openness to working in a complex international environment
