Quality Consultant Job Description

Maternity cover – 6 months.

Job location: Elanco office in EU or SA, with 1-2 days per week in the office and the remainder working from home.

Position Description: As a quality contact for the Elanco Affiliate organization, you will ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Elanco standards in the daily activities of affiliates in the Benelux and Nordics regions.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

• Act as principal Quality liaison with the Danish Logistics Service Provider, including oversight and troubleshooting.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational quality tasks, including batch release, deviations, change controls, returns, and management of quality documents in the Veeva Vault electronic Quality Management System.
• Support launch, rationalization, inventory management, and supplier/customer qualification activities from an affiliate Quality perspective.
• Participate in planning, preparation, and conduct of self-inspections and audits, including regulatory inspection readiness.
• Work with the Quality Manager to ensure all operations comply with GDP, GMP, and local regulations.
• Adhere to all company policies, including Quality frameworks, Code of Conduct, and HSE policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong written and spoken English skills are essential.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Dutch or French is an advantage.
• Experience working in a GDP or GMP environment is required.
• Experience with electronic Quality Management Systems and ERP systems (Veeva Vault, SAP) is preferred.
• Effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work well with others, with strong analytical and investigational skills.
• Good organizational and planning skills.
