Job Description:

Join Ventura TRAVEL, a group of specialized travel brands, and help travelers experience authentic China through unique trips. As a Travel Specialist, you will inspire German-speaking clients to explore China, creating and selling high-quality group trips. You will manage trip preparations, provide excellent customer service via email and phone, and work closely with local service providers to ensure smooth travel experiences.

You will report to the Brand Director and collaborate with a diverse, international team committed to excellence and passion for travel.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Advise customers before and after trips via phone and email.
• Create a compelling sales experience to meet sales goals.
• Negotiate with local service providers for the best deals.
• Present travel products on our website.
• Coordinate reservations with flight and service teams.
• Design new travel products from scratch.

Qualifications:

• Passion for client contact and travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English, German (native), and Chinese (a plus).
• Travel experience in China and a passion for the country.
• Understanding of travel product sales.
• Positive attitude and ability to remain calm under stress.

Additional Assets:

• Basic Chinese language skills.
• Experience in tourism or with tour operators.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Software proficiency.
