Wood is recruiting for a Principal Renewable Energy Consultant to join the advisory services team focusing on Solar and Hybrid projects. The team is based in Hamburg, but we support remote and hybrid work across Germany.

We work on global projects in the renewables sector, including onshore and offshore Wind, Solar PV, Hydrogen, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

The Role

The Principal Renewable Energy Consultant (PREC) project manages due diligence assignments, assessing renewable energy projects for our clients. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, the PREC produces detailed reports tailored to client needs.

You will be the main client contact, resolving challenges directly, building strong relationships, and contributing to project financing and the growth of our Renewables business.

We offer training resources through our Energy Transition Academy and advisory communities. As an expert, you can share your knowledge and mentor other consultants, supporting team and industry growth.
