What You Can Expect

• Independent participation in the agile team in the new and further development of sophisticated medium-sized and large software products
• Development of modern and high-performance user interfaces, e.g. for the graphical editing of document templates based on the open standards XHTML, CSS, XPATH and XSLT
• Working with both native web technologies and established frameworks such as React and ReduxToolkit
• Active collaboration with designers, product owners and in the team during implementation and (unit) testing as part of the agile development process as well as mutual reviews, pair programming, continuous integration and refactoring
• Providing information for our technical writers to create product documentation
• Participation in design and architecture drafts (within the framework specified by the system architecture)
• Up to 3 days/week home office and 2 days with the team in the office in Böblingen
  
  

What You Bring With You

• Successful studies in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualifications
• Sound knowledge - at least 3 years of experience - in designing and implementing user-friendly, high-performance and secure web applications based on well-known frontend frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js)
• Confident in the programming languages JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS; in the use of REST and XML technologies (e.g. XSD, XSLT, Xpath& JsonPath); experience in GIT, web security and ideally knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), as well as a good understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles
• Understanding of security principles and proven methods and patterns in web development (state management, event handling, ...)
• Ideally experience in backend development and deployment of RESTfulAPIs
• High willingness to learn, technological curiosity and analytical skills as well as a positive attitude and solution orientation
• Good team and communication skills, very good written and spoken English, knowledge of German
