Mission: The role is part of the ETO Procurement central organization within the ETO Power Systems Business. You will be responsible for leading the global transport strategy within the Global ETO and Solution perimeters, focusing on Sustainability, Global Trade Compliance, and enhancing expertise in Transport & Logistics. Your role involves integrating innovative transformation solutions with digitization and robust governance processes.

Goals/Responsibilities:

1. Transport: Provide expert support on Transportation and Global Trade at the plant level and procurement team; support all transport flows to improve operational excellence; introduce new technologies; monitor KPIs and cost drivers; define and implement improvement actions; optimize logistic network design; support operations with RFQ, insurance claims, tax, and customs issues; ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards; define transportation network strategy; support transport contract negotiations; develop teams at plants; improve service levels; compile shipping data for management reporting; analyze transport costs and shipping tonnage.
2. Category Management: Support S6 category Transport for Solution; manage performance of freight forwarders and transporters; collaborate with freight forwarders on global/regional plans; develop category management strategies; participate in the transport expert community; share best practices; act as a role model or coach; manage transport dashboards; lead export control, carbon tax, and cargo insurance projects.

Required Experience: Master’s degree in economics, commercial or industrial sciences, engineering, or logistics. 8-10 years’ experience in Supply Chain with team management. Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in logistics software and communication technologies. Excellent negotiation skills. Fluent in English.
