Your new role

As our new Junior Environmental Consultant (m / f / d), you will contribute to Ramboll’s success by working collaboratively with colleagues and building trust-based relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities include report writing, data collection, survey field work, literature review, and developing recommendations for clients. You will manage projects of varying size and complexity, including budget control, client liaison, and leading a team of technical specialists. Collaboration across technical areas and geographies will ensure high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations. Depending on your experience, you may also mentor junior consultants to develop their skills.

Your main tasks will be:

• Undertake Environmental and Social Due Diligence and ESIA in accordance with international standards
• Project management
• Support proposal preparation and the acquisition process
• Provide advice and project support through effective communication with clients (banks, developers, contractors, lenders, corporate clients)
• Contribute to creating a safe working environment for staff, sub-contractors, and clients

Your new team

You will be based in Frankfurt / Main for about 60% of your time and will be part of an international, multidisciplinary team connected across many offices worldwide. Our global Sustainable Finance Team includes around 50 specialists from various countries, working across diverse fields such as climate change, biodiversity, social sciences, and more. We foster a motivated, innovative, and supportive environment where colleagues actively assist each other. You will play a key role in developing and executing projects across different countries, often involving field surveys and advisory services in regions including Africa, Asia, and the Americas.

About you

We support your personal and professional growth from day one. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in Due Diligence and ESIA aligned with international standards
• Excellent report writing skills in English and German
• Strong communication skills in English, German, and preferably another language such as Turkish, French, or Spanish
• Project management experience in relevant technical areas
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Willingness to travel internationally (~20%)
