Your mission

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and improving our security framework to ensure the security and functionality of our systems and data and ultimately make us more successful as a company. You will:

1. Guide, advise and help our team members follow our security policies, assess security risks, and plan and deliver improvement actions to ensure our risks are effectively and efficiently managed.
2. Monitor the design and performance of our security controls and make recommendations for improvement as required. Automate the boring stuff, so that we get maximum useful insight with minimum effort.
3. Act as the primary contact for customers, partners, and auditors on security and compliance topics. Coordinate requests for information, and make sure our stakeholders get the information they need.
4. Be the interface between Squalify and our outsourced IT provider to ensure that they are delivering the services we need, and that our team has IT equipment and services that are securely managed.
5. Support incident response and investigation when things go wrong.
6. Create, maintain, and evolve our security policies and guidelines to ensure that they take into account current threats, and meet our compliance requirements, while at the same time being readable and useful for our team.
7. Keep up to date with trends and changes in the security technology, compliance and business landscape.

Your Profile

• Previous experience in Information Security, IT Compliance, or IT Operations.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and confidence in working with external vendors.
• Familiarity with the security features of Microsoft cloud services (e.g. Office365, Azure) is a plus
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
