We are looking for a passionate individual to join our interdisciplinary production team as a User Experience Designer. Demodern is a renowned and award-winning creative technology agency dedicated to crafting innovative and impactful strategies, products, and services for the virtual era. Our client portfolio ranges from national to international brands across various industries.

Your profile

We recognize that great User Experience Designers are continual learners. If you don’t meet all the criteria, don’t worry. However, the following experience and familiarity with technologies are essential:

1. Professional experience as a UX Designer, UX Researcher, Creative Strategist, or similar role.
2. Responsibility for conceptual aspects of projects and collaboration with clients on conceptual topics.
3. Ability to create sketches, wireframes, and prototypes across interaction areas.
4. Fluent communication in German and English with clients, and confidence in discussing and advocating for product value.
5. Understanding of how UX decisions impact design and development, and ability to incorporate this into concepts.
6. Skill in presenting concepts effectively to diverse interest groups.
7. Focus on end-user needs and business goals of clients.
8. Ability to recognize market trends and translate them into product strategies.
9. Basic understanding of technical fundamentals in digital product development.

Nice to have

Additional qualities that would make you stand out include:

1. Familiarity with SCRUM, JIRA, and experience as a Product Owner.
2. Experience with spatial UX in a 3D context, such as working on a Mixed Reality app or WebGL website.
3. Ability to create UI guidelines and experience with Design Sprints.
4. Storytelling skills for ideating creative storylines for products.
5. Strong copywriting skills to complement your design work.
