Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung mit Backend-Frameworks, vorzugsweise Javascript/Typescript.
• Erfahrung mit relationalen Datenbanken wie MySQL oder PostgreSQL.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as a Backend Developer (m/f/d) for our integrations team.

As part of the integrations team at MOBIKO, you will be developing new tools from scratch to connect to external providers to push the MOBIKO product forward. You love a new challenge, have the willpower to figure out the best and most scalable solution possible and welcome new technologies that will fit best.
We are looking for colleagues who are easy to talk to and understand a balance between pair-programming and collaborative brain-storming as well as autonomously completing their work. You’re always trying to circumvent obstacles yourself, but are happy to ask and give feedback when needed.

Our Tech Stack:

• Frontend & PWA: Typescript with Vue.js & React
• Backend: Typescript with Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL
• Infrastructure: Docker & Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure, Terraform, Flux, Helm, ArgoCD
• Good2Know: Bleeding edge Processes, including Blue / Green and Canary Deployments, automated Testing (Unit / e2e / Security / code quality), Feature Flags and more.

Your mission

• Creating serverless, high-performing and scalable functions like AWS Lambda or Azure Cloud Functions
• Writing optimized database queries that will manage large volumes of data
• Integrate with different external providers, either through libraries or by building entire communication protocols
• Creating microservices that will handle a specific use-case, from the ground-up
• Creating API gateways to handle and distribute traffic among different services

What we expect from you

• You have minimum 3 years experience with a backend framework, preferably Javascript/Typescript based like Node.JS, NestJS
• You have worked with databases, preferable relational, like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
• You have experience creating rest API and worked with testing framework/libraries
• You know about microservices or how to separate functionality out of a monolith as well as experience with version control
• You have great command of the English language, both written and spoken

What else will go down well with us

• You enjoy coding – being a developer is your passion turned into a job
• You have already worked with some sort of ticketing system like JIRA.
• You have experience with database ORM’s as well as experience with containers, devops and ci/cd tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, docker, github actions, etc.
• You know what to do with testing tools, both unit and e2e like JEST.
• You have used messaging queue systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• You have previously worked in a dynamic and agile SaaS environment such as a Start-up/ Scale-up
