Consulting Role Responsibilities
  • Ensure the successful delivery of consulting projects in product and/or corporate sustainability, including LCA, EPD, and strategy projects. Delegate project tasks appropriately.
  • Deliver projects within the agreed time, scope, quality, and budget, ensuring profitability.
  • Manage multiple consulting projects across domains or sectors, collaborating with other teams as needed, and adhere to quality management processes, including project closure.
  • Lead medium and large-scale consulting projects.
  • Contribute to achieving annual targets for revenue, bookings, and utilization in sustainability consulting.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Support cross-regional and cross-domain projects by providing expert guidance.
  • Share domain or sector knowledge within your project team and the broader organization.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, understanding capacity and project demands.
  • Submit timesheets weekly and plan vacations monthly, monitoring project status regularly, including resource schedules, budgets, and profitability.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards according to Sphera's processes, taking responsibility for application and deliverable QA checks.
  • Represent Sphera professionally in client interactions, building trust and identifying client challenges.
  • Manage customer satisfaction issues per company protocols.
  • Identify new sales opportunities with existing and potential clients, supporting business development efforts in proposal and SOW drafting.
  • Contribute to marketing activities and support go-to-market strategies within your domain/sector.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in the Agriculture/Consumer Goods industry through presentations, publications, webinars, and social media engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge management practices and document project references for completed projects.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Expertise in Sphera software (LCA FE, formerly GaBi).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in LCA and product sustainability.
