Position: Senior Category Strategy Manager (w/f/d)

The Senior Category Strategy Manager works closely with other functional teams, such as Marketing, Commercial, Market & Consumer Insights.

  • Identify market opportunities and growth potential for LDB to increase market share in upcoming years, focusing on key categories with high RX acceleration.
  • Develop and implement strategic priorities that respect the full customer journey (patient + consumer) by leading or supporting cross-functional project teams.
  • Support the LDB leadership team in preparing for key strategic meetings (GM visit, Zone, Multi-Div).
  • Expand and develop market, category, consumer, and competitor insights:
    • Manage consumer and category insights studies, consolidating and developing insights, and overseeing study needs.
    • Analyze, share, and translate insights into tactics and strategies in collaboration with LDB teams (brands, commercial, digital, education).
    • Upskill the LDB community on market and consumer insights and support critical brand and sales meetings with relevant insights.
    • Own the market projection process in collaboration with the Corporate CMI Team and counterparts in other divisions.
    • Drive category growth and identify profitable growth opportunities with the Revenue Growth Manager.
    • Represent our division’s perspectives and interests in cross-divisional and international contexts.
Your Profile:
  • Successfully completed university degree.
  • At least years of experience in sales, marketing, category management, or business development; ideally in cosmetics or pharmaceutical environments.
  • Good understanding of the cosmetics market.
  • Experience in the pharmacy environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and an affinity for numbers.
  • Ability to develop and implement fact-based strategies.
  • Skill to navigate between top-line strategy and operational data/insights.
  • Strong communication skills, team player, assertiveness, enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment.
