A leading company in high voltage power solutions is seeking a Firmware Engineer to design and evaluate software for X-ray generators. The role involves troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with various teams. Proficiency in German and C/C++ programming is essential.

Design, modify, and evaluate firmware and software for high voltage X-ray generators.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing firmware and software.
Develop software solutions for new market requirements.
Perform specific tests on X-ray generators and equipment.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation to meet medical device regulatory requirements.
Create documentation for software releases to production (in English and German).
Support manufacturing with newly released software.
Train staff on software changes and improvements.
Interface with customers to understand their requirements and problems, and develop system architectures and solutions accordingly.
Collaborate with engineers, project leaders, project managers, manufacturing, test groups, and customers.
Interpret, document, and update specifications based on development and customer input.
Create programming and testing procedures for internal use and for customers.
Manage firmware and software changes and version control.
Conduct design verification testing and documentation.
Support R&D of new products and technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; specialization in software design is a plus.
Proficiency in German (must) and good English skills (spoken and written).
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Hands-on experience with C and C++ programming.
Experience with Visual C, Visual Studio, and basic Windows UI design.
Understanding of electronic circuits and schematics.
Experience with microcontroller programming languages.
Familiarity with medical device directives is a plus.
Must be independent, self-motivated, with strong analytical and creative thinking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
