Job Description:

YOUR TASKS:

• Mechanical Engineer dedicated to the reliability of the TOF system (prototype validation + field investigations), development of the DFMEA and system documentation.
• The System “Tower and Foundation” is responsible for the full lifecycle of the support structure components of the WTG and system reliability performance studies for prototype turbines/towers under validation and for turbines/towers in operation.
• Provide support to the System lead regarding supervision and maintenance of design bases. Support the development of the TOF system DFMEA and coordinate the identified actions.
• Assist the System Design Team with documentation and planning alongside the tower development project engineer.
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for field investigations related to the TOF system, ensuring experiences are incorporated into the design bases.
• Identify design improvements based on reliability studies outcomes.
• Participate in project meetings representing the TOF system.
• Define the TOF system validation plan for new turbines/tower developments in collaboration with the System Lead.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in civil or mechanical engineering (diploma, master's, or doctorate).
• Experience in developing load-bearing support structures (steel, concrete, welding, bolts) in the wind industry.
• Knowledge of relevant standards.
• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Assertive, confident, with strong team spirit.
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; skills in German and Spanish are advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the wind turbine sector, specifically in design and validation of wind turbine support structures.
• Willingness to travel.
