Job Description:

Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) therapies – supported by extensive customer training and service, our SAPIEN family of transcatheter aortic heart valves are the most widely prescribed in the world.

As a Regional Field Clinical Specialist, you will be a vital part of the THV field team in Germany, working closely with heart centers, physicians, and hospital staff to provide clinical support during TAVI procedures. You should have deep product knowledge and understanding of heart pathophysiology and aortic stenosis patients. You will represent Edwards to physicians and patients.

Experience working in sterile environments (OR, Catch Lab, Hybrid OR) or as a Field Clinical Specialist in medical devices is preferred. Training on TAVI will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Deep understanding of Edwards products and services, acting as a clinical and technical expert.
• Expertise in aortic stenosis and patient conditions, serving as a trusted resource for implanters and customers.
• Interpreting clinical data and supporting clinical decisions based on imaging and other data.
• Providing procedural support in the Cath lab/OR, demonstrating leadership and effective communication.
• Supporting imaging interpretation (echocardiography, CT scans) for treatment planning.
• Understanding business metrics and collaborating with stakeholders to meet territory goals.
• Building customer relationships and providing training and education on products and procedures.
• Working independently while fostering team collaboration and sharing best practices.

Qualifications:

• Nursing or related degree; 2-3 years of clinical/technical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Experience in Cath lab or OR environment.
• Valid driver’s license; company car provided.
• Strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and adaptability.
• Willingness to learn echocardiographic equipment operation is advantageous.
