Summary

We are looking for an Embedded Software Developer for Secondary Radar (f/m/d) for the IFF/COMMS Product Development department at the Taufkirchen site as soon as possible.

The IFF/COMMS Product Development department is responsible for developing and maintaining embedded and application software for our airspace surveillance systems and state-of-the-art communication systems.

Our division supplies system solutions for air, ground, and sea-based platforms for military and civilian users. We develop IFF devices such as secondary radar, transponders, and operating and display software for a wide range of radar systems.

Your Tasks

1. Development of real-time capable, multi-tasking Linux applications in C
2. Application of the defined development process
3. Creation of software requirements
4. Development of software design artifacts and models (UML)
5. Implementation of CI / CD pipelines and unit testing
6. Maintenance of Linux-based infrastructure
7. Maintenance and customization of board support packages

Your Profile

1. Completed studies in computer science or a related field with a focus on software development
2. Several years of experience in embedded application software development with strong programming skills in C and Linux
3. Experience with network and bus protocols
4. Initial experience with software artifacts creation according to RTCA DO-278 / DO-178 standards
5. Experience with Enterprise Architect
6. High initiative and commitment
7. Fluent in German and English
