Job Responsibilities

As (Senior) Application Engineer (m/f/d) you take on a central role in our Automotive Product Management department and follow our Automotive projects from customer inquiry to series production. As the technical counterpart to our sales teams, you will consult on feasibility and assess customer requirements. You will then develop and present on new products and key platform solutions. In the early project development stages, you will collaborate with across team to find the best possible technical solutions considering suitable electrical components and life cycle requirements. You will also be a technical consultant to customers during the project phase and series production. Furthermore, you will be asked to share knowledge with your colleagues, participate in specialist conferences and present your work in key publications.

We are looking for a creative, highly communicative and open-minded team player with a Master’s degree in electrical engineering. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in application engineering in a similar environment such as power electronics for the automotive sector, industrial applications, or solar and wind industries. We also ask for the following:

• Flexibility with regards to travel (international)
• High degree of customer orientation, motivation and commitment
• Team player and collaborator across different functional groups
• Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken), knowledge of German is an advantage
• Ability to think outside the box
