Take off with us! We offer exciting projects at our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space. We are looking for a motivated Aerodynamic Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Dataset Team.

• Design and generate aerodynamics datasets for stability & control, loads, and performance assessments.
• Develop and apply machine learning methodologies to aerodynamic dataset generation.
• Improve data fusion methodologies by combining numerical, wind-tunnel, and flight test data for increased accuracy.
• Conduct empirical and experimental data analysis of aerodynamic characteristics.
• Support the preparation and conduction of wind tunnel and flight test programs.
• Ensure the consistency of aerodynamics datasets through verification, validation, and defining aerodynamic tolerances.
• Support on-site wind tunnel campaigns.

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Aerospace, Machine Learning, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data fusion algorithms.
• Profound knowledge in aerodynamics, especially related to fighter aircraft.
• Programming skills in Fortran and familiarity with Linux/Unix systems.
• Good knowledge of Python and MS-Office.
• Proficient in German.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (2-3 times per year for 1-4 weeks to USA and Amsterdam).
