Job Description:

Important: This is a relocation role targeted at candidates currently residing outside Germany, preferably within the EU, as we do not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Germany and possess at least B1+ level German language skills.

What to expect

• You will be part of the agile team responsible for product management and end-to-end reporting applications, overseeing the entire software lifecycle.
• In the KANBAN team, you will develop, optimize, and create technical designs for the ETL routes of our DataMart.
• You will conduct necessary tests and analyses.
• Your tasks include authorization and release management for applications, instructing other employees on development with SAS (best practice).
• You will support test and defect management and provide 3rd level support during incidents or problems.
• You will be involved in architecture and design decisions and their implementation, from requirements analysis to initial solution design.
• Documentation, regulation, and IT security are integral parts of your responsibilities.

What you bring to the table

• You hold a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of experience in application development (ETL) for Datamarts, using SAS, PL/SQL, and DWH technologies.
• You possess knowledge of HOST z/OS, GIT/Jenkins, databases like Oracle and DB2, and SQL.
• Additional knowledge of BI tools, especially MicroStrategy, is beneficial.
• You enjoy working on complex IT solutions in a focused, agile manner.
• You communicate convincingly in German, both written and orally; good English skills are also required.
• You can expect to work within an agile team with numerous interfaces and applications.
