What You Will Do

  • In this role, you will help define and implement solutions that transform scientific data workflows into structured, AI-ready assets. Your work will contribute to the broader mission of making scientific data more accessible, interoperable, and actionable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Data Workflow Design: Translate scientific data workflows into practical, scalable solutions leveraging the company's advanced data platform.
  • Solution Development: Design and implement various solutions, including:
  • Programmatic interrogation of proprietary instrument output files
  • Python-based parser development for scientific data processing
  • Integration of lab software (e.g., ELN/LIMS) via APIs
  • Data visualization using Python (Jupyter Notebooks, Streamlit, hvPlot, Bokeh) and/or BI tools (Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI)
  • Work closely with customers to understand scientific and business requirements
  • Develop and test solutions to ensure they meet customer needs
  • Communicate project progress and deliver demos to key stakeholders
  • Address real-time customer feedback by synthesizing input and proposing refinements
  • Lead sprint planning and prioritization for specific accounts or use cases
  • Facilitate internal project retrospectives to identify areas for optimization and productization
  • Provide feedback to the product team on customer pain points to help shape future roadmap priorities

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python for scripting, automation, data analysis, data engineering, and/or data science.
  • 3+ years of experience in life sciences, whether in a research setting, bioinformatics, or within a technology provider serving the industry.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex technical products and communicate effectively with engineering and product teams.
  • Strong passion for scientific innovation and data accessibility.
  • A relentless curiosity and a drive to learn and adapt continuously.
  • Resilience in overcoming setbacks and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to drive project success proactively.
  • A collaborative spirit with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute to the team's overall success.
  • Ability to travel within the EMEA region (up to 20%) for customer engagements.
