We are currently seeking to employ a motivated and enthusiastic Java Software Engineer to strengthen our team of software and system engineers to develop a new control software for Gateway, the first international space station around the Moon. The main objective will be to develop software and implement new components in the systems.

What you’ll do
Develop the Monitoring & Control System for Gateway, the first international space station around the Moon
Design and implement sub-components of the system in compliance with the overall system architecture
Create technical documentation of implementation in Wiki system and UML Model
Support proactive evolution of current technology stack throughout the initial development phase and subsequent maintenance phase
What we are looking for
A university degree in computer science, engineering, or in a similar subject
Proficient in Java 11/17, Apache Karaf (OSGi) Framework, OSGi methodology and Kubernetes
DevOps mindset and experience in CI/CD pipelines based on Nexus, Jenkins, Git, and Docker
Experience in agile software development lifecycles, with the Atlassian Tool Suite
Experience in Linux environments and supplementary scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Fluency in English
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
Experience in web-frontend development based on the React framework
Experience in Apache Service Mix platform and Apache Kafka
