Worldline is looking for a Commercial and Contract Manager (m / f / d). We are looking for candidates with strong experience in the complex management and negotiation of Financial Services and Information Technology contracts (gained preferably in a large international group) to be appointed in Frankfurt. The employment contract is initially fixed term with the possibility of being taken over.
The Contract Manager is a strong client-facing role and a key player in the account governance, participating in meetings as a trustful advisor to the business teams, and managing compliance with contractual obligations protecting Worldline’s interests and supporting business strategy decisions internally and in external negotiations and alignments.
The Contract Managers community in Worldline is composed of a team of highly experienced contract experts, working in a global and smart professional environment in the major accounts of the Group over several countries, interconnected with the latest technology tools that allow building their network to exchange knowledge and share different experiences. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Professional administration and effective management of the overall contracts through all stages of the lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and obligations
- Leading complex contract negotiations
- Maintaining a deep understanding of all projects and contracts in order to mitigate risks and prevent penalties
- Being a proactive member of the Worldline delivery team, advising and collaborating with the delivery managers and account team as well as other team members in the contract execution in order to protect Worldline’s interests
- Identifying, assessing, and managing risk-related matters in the contract execution and supporting rigorous and effective risk management processes
- Providing advice on issues of contractual interpretation and assisting in any dispute resolution process

- Strong understanding of contract issues, regulations, and terms and conditions within the financial and IT services industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large and complex contracts in challenging environments

- Strong communication skills with all levels of management (external or internal)
- Confident and authoritative demeanor
- Talented negotiator experienced in complex client scenarios with strong influencing skills
- Ability to work in a matrixed and complex organization with multiple stakeholders and influence across company lines
- Highly structured and process-oriented approach with the ability to multitask
- Business fluent in German and English
- Proactive and risk mitigation approach, solution and business-oriented, analytic and disciplined
- Integrative thinking, experience in complex environments and an eye for detail
- Autonomous working in an organized and structured way
- Team player and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Work and deliver results in an international context.
