Area of work:

The Group Security department directly contributes to the execution of Deutsche Börse Group's information security strategy. As a central service provider, Group Security is responsible for protecting information assets, including those of suppliers, ensuring safety, integrity, confidentiality, authenticity, and availability by enforcing security controls based on regulatory requirements and ISO/IEC 27000 standards.

Your responsibilities:

Provide IT security expertise to support the business, including:

  • Managing the delivery of security services to meet SLAs and KPIs.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing security risks related to service delivery.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of security procedures and documentation.
  • Managing medium to large security projects outside of BAU.
  • Managing security incidents and participating in incident response.
  • Participating in budget and resource allocation for security services.
  • Negotiating contracts with security service providers.
  • Providing security consulting to product and technical support groups.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably in financial services. Knowledge of vulnerability scanning technologies like CNAPP, RAPID7, etc.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Experience managing security service providers and SLAs.

Ability to meet challenging project deadlines with high-quality results, attention to detail, and the ability to choose appropriate solutions considering business constraints.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Team player with experience working in international, dynamic, and agile environments, capable of working independently.
  • Familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, DORA, NIST, ISO 27001.
  • Industry certifications like PMP, CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are highly desirable.
  • Experience with ITIL framework is advantageous.
