Qualifikationen

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the onsite quality engineering team, supporting both Level 2 and Level 3 quality staff
  • Own all site-level quality initiatives, including audits, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Oversee and refine QMS documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)
  • Conduct root cause analysis and manage the CAPA process for systemic improvement
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to align quality goals with operational performance
  • Participate in NRV (Nonconformance Review and Validation) meetings and support product disposition
  • Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues and documentation
  • Promote a data-driven quality culture using metrics and continuous improvement strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success managing quality teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T, nonconformance analysis, and corrective action systems
  • Comfortable driving audits and maintaining compliance with ISO standards
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work closely with shop floor teams
  • Experience with performance metrics tied to quality outcomes
  • Familiarity with maritime manufacturing is a plus, though not required
  • Internal auditing certification or experience is preferred
