Qualifikationen

In 2011, we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private test flights across the world.

Job Description

Your crew during this flight:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the required standards of quality, safety, and reliability.

Your mission during this flight:

  • Prepare and maintain Control and Inspection Plans for warehouse, part manufacturing, and assembly operations.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with design and industry standards.
  • Prepare and review FAI plans.
  • Participate in CCB (Configuration Control Board) and CIB (Change Implementation Board) meetings and ensure timely implementation of changes to affected processes and Control/Inspection Plans.
  • Analyze Non-conformity Reports and monitor defect trends in responsible areas.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report off-track results with recovery plans to upper management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project issues promptly.
  • Assist in developing process improvements in accordance with Part 21, EN9100, and other aerospace standards.
  • Contribute Quality Assurance input to the Supplier Quality Team: NCR trends, defect analysis.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for continual improvement.
  • Ensure calibration processes are executed as required.

Qualifications

Check in your professional skills:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Quality Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance engineering within the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations (Part 21, EN9100, EN9102).
  • Proficiency in problem-solving methods (5W, Ishikawa, 8D).
  • Experience with PFMEA, NCR, and RCA practices.
  • Ability to solve evolving problems effectively.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in MS Office, PLM, and ERP tools (Teamcenter and/or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel.
