RESPONSIBILITIES

Our global Application Technology & Delivery Optimization unit focuses on formulation optimization of crop protection products, working on technical aspects like adjuvanting to enhance efficacy and applicability.

• As a Research Scientist in product optimization, you will plan, implement, and evaluate laboratory studies focusing on active ingredient distribution and uptake of crop protection products.
• You will lead internal research and development projects and collaborate in a global environment.
• You will support new product development, develop product recommendations, and contribute to market and research developments.
• You will coordinate cross-team projects and optimize laboratory workflows through digitalization.
• You will develop existing methods and implement new methods aligned with current scientific standards.
• To become an expert in product optimization, you will work closely with various scientific disciplines within our global R&D organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD in agricultural sciences or a related discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry)
• Relevant professional experience, ideally including project management
• Familiarity with research and development laboratory processes and technologies
• Strong knowledge of plant protection and plant physiology
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Enjoyment in experimental work, an innovative mindset, and enthusiasm for working in a global team
