Position: Operations Support Analyst

The Operations Support Analyst will be based at Headquarters MARFOREUR/AF. This role supports the AC/S for Operations (G3) and serves as the primary action officer for facilitating key battle rhythm events and managing critical information functions. The analyst also performs various administrative and financial tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform information management within the Command and Control Information Environment (C2IE).
  2. Assist in managing the Training, Exercises, and Employment Plan (TEEP).
  3. Handle Global Force Management (GFM) tasks, including responding to GFM Allocation Plan (GFMAP) modifications, conducting Request for Forces (RFF) and Request for Support (RFS), and briefing GFM matters in meetings.
  4. Support Marine forces deployment planning using the Force Management Tool (FMT) and the Joint Training Tool (JTT).
  5. Assist in proper document management and record preservation.
  6. Support fiscal planning and budgeting processes.
  7. Provide general administrative support to the G3 as needed.
  8. Review official travel authorizations and vouchers as a DTS Routing Official.

Position Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of related military experience OR 15 years of related military experience.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Citizenship, valid Driver’s License, and tourist passport.
  • Secret or higher-level security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel across the U.S. and EUCOM/AFRICOM areas (up to 10%).
  • Ability to work extended hours for surge requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to brief senior military leaders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) concepts is preferred.
