Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business with utilities, industrial clients, and renewable energy developers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to solution design, proposal preparation, and deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the renewable energy sector, including utility companies, grid operators, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and transmission operators for seamless BESS integration into the power grid.
  • Stay informed on changes in grid codes, transmission line requirements, and energy storage regulations.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and R&D teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Qualifications include Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in renewable energy technical support, sales, or project management, focusing on BESS, PCS, or EMS.
  • Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid compliance requirements (IEC, IEEE standards).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and grid codes for energy storage systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and project site visits.
  • Fluent in German, with working proficiency in English.
