Senior Sales Manager Europe (m/w/d), you will be at the forefront of our expansion strategy, identifying new business opportunities, securing high-value clients, and opening doors where others see walls. Your success will directly fuel our growth trajectory in the Software and Digital Solutions (SDS) space.
Job Description
- New Business Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new enterprise-level customers in various sectors such as Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Retail & Logistics, with a focus on driving net-new revenue.
- Opportunity Creation: Use your network and insights to uncover unmet needs and transform them into tangible, long-term partnerships.
- Strategic Prospecting: Target key decision-makers, initiate high-impact conversations, and pitch innovative digital solutions tailored to customer challenges.
- Deal Ownership: Lead the full sales cycle from cold outreach to signed contract, including qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Market Penetration: Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans for assigned regions, expanding our footprint in untapped and underserved markets.
- Competitive Positioning: Position BGSG as a top-tier innovation partner by staying ahead of market trends and articulating clear business value.
Qualifications
- Hunter Mentality: You thrive on building from scratch, opening new accounts, and consistently hitting ambitious sales targets.
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience (5-8 years) in selling complex IT/software and engineering service solutions across Europe.
- Sales Expertise: Deep familiarity with consultative and strategic selling methodologies (e.g., Miller-Heiman, Solution Selling).
- Industry Know-How: Strong understanding of key European industries such as automotive, manufacturing, and digital engineering.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Self-motivated, autonomous, and relentless in pursuit of new opportunities.
