Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes technisches oder universitäres Studium in Elektrotechnik oder Verfahrenstechnik.
• Erfahrung im technischen Support und Kenntnisse in industrieller Messtechnik.

We have a great role open for a technical specialist who will assist both our customers and colleagues with their expertise.

This position is responsible for providing application and technical advice to our sales and Field Services teams, both nationally and internationally, during acquisition, commissioning, and after-sales support. As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to offer direct input, helping them optimize the use of our solutions. You will join an expert team within the Flexim business, a leader in ultrasonic flow metering technology.

In this role, you will:

• Perform application analysis based on measurement data, customer descriptions, or service reports.
• Identify and resolve faults using existing tools and empirical data, including technical testing and risk assessment related to applications.
• Collaborate with R&D to develop new solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver training courses for customers, sales partners, internal and external sales staff, and local sales units in German and English.
• Conduct on-site measurements and troubleshooting tasks.

Who You Are:

You understand customer needs, tailor your communication to diverse audiences, and encourage others to learn and adopt new technologies. You are comfortable engaging with people across different levels, functions, cultures, and geographies.

Requirements for This Role:

• Completed technical or university degree in electrical or process engineering.
• Significant professional experience in technical support.
• Strong knowledge of industrial measurement technology, measurement analysis, and diagnostics.
• Independent, detail-oriented, and goal-driven work style, combined with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel globally to Emerson and customer sites (up to a specified percentage during peak periods).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in German.
• Experience working within a matrix organization.
