Job Description:

We are looking for a creative, delivery-oriented Enterprise Account Executive to join our team in Germany and maximize the phenomenal market opportunity for Databricks. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will focus on acquiring new enterprise-class customers and sharing an informed point of view on the Big Data and Advanced Analytics space.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify new business opportunities, win new clients, and increase the usage of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
  • Assess your accounts and develop strategies to engage all buying centers and stakeholders.
  • Use a solution-based approach to selling and demonstrate value to potential clients.
  • Close quick wins and manage longer, complex sales cycles.
  • Track all customer details, including use cases, purchase timelines, next steps, and forecasts in Salesforce.
  • Own the consumption story with your customers, using demand plans to identify the most viable use cases to maximize impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maximize your ecosystem's impact.
  • Build value in all engagements to guide successful negotiations and closures.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience selling complex software, ideally related to data & AI, to enterprise clients in Germany.
  • A passion for winning new clients (hunter mentality).
  • Strong experience in previous sales roles.
  • Understanding of consumption-based, land-and-expand sales models is advantageous.
  • Experience creating demand and delivering value for clients.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling, and forecasting.
  • Ability to develop partnerships with champions and client teams.
  • Fluent in German and business English.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
