Position:Senior Backend Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission in a nutshell:We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives on solving complex puzzles and who's known as a great collaborator.

The team: our tech team consists of around 20 professionals coming from different countries. We speak English and are divided into cross-functional squads.

We aspire to find a person with outstanding add-in expertise and a unique personality for our team. We are a diverse bunch of people, so there is no specific profile that will be 'the perfect fit!'

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME:

You will join our cross-functional team responsible for the backend microservices of our mobile application.

You'll be working on building the highly-scalable system that provides relevant content to our users through daily behaviour-based recommendations.

You will take end-to-end ownership of feature development (Code -> Test -> Deploy -> Run)

You will actively contribute to architectural decisions for the whole Humanoo product through our backend guilds setup.

You will collaborate closely with our product owners, using your technical knowledge to arrive at the best solution and suggesting technical innovations which can be added to our application.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:

You are familiar with Maven, Spring Boot, Hibernate

Experience with microservices

Savvy with Git and AWS

Very good object oriented design skills

Well-versed with Docker

Comfortable working with Agile methodology and multiple deployments per day

Knowledge of event driven systems or Kubernetes is a plus

System design interview with the CTO & Engineering Lead (45 minutes)

After the completion of these interview stages, our hiring team will convene for a debrief session to discuss your application.
