Our Consumer Goods segment within Sales Europe Central is looking for a motivated Sales Manager (m/f/d).
In this role, you’ll dive into the fast-paced world of consumer goods – with plenty of room for personal development, real impact, and a strong internal network at Outokumpu.

You’ll work closely with key departments such as Operations, Supply Chain Management, R&D, Technical Value Creation, Finance, and Marketing – playing an active role in taking our sales performance to the next level.

Your Impact:

  • Provide customer service to clients in White Goods, Sink & Food, and Catering sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic customer engagement plans.
  • Promote and sell Outokumpu’s products and services.
  • Execute sales strategy and contribute to strategic projects.
  • Handle customer inquiries and manage offers and contracts.
  • Ensure technical feasibility and track offers until order placement.
  • Lead contract negotiations and acquire new customers.
  • Implement strategies to regain customers and boost satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and participate in industry events.

What you bring:

  • Academic degree in a technical or commercial field, or a completed commercial apprenticeship.
  • Knowledge of stainless-steel production and processing methods; B2B sales experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Proactive sales personality with technical interest and understanding.
  • Target and solution-oriented mindset.
  • High level of self-initiative and assertiveness.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and results-oriented thinking.
  • Commitment to continuous development within the Sales domain.
  • Intercultural competence, empathy, and willingness to travel.
