In this role, you will develop a key component of Scalable’s transformative project: the taxation logic supporting our pan-European growth. You will automate wealth management algorithms focusing on risk, cost, and tax optimization, capable of handling 1 million trades in 10 minutes for less than €10, using a cutting-edge tech stack.

You will:

1. Develop in Python with a motivated team of software engineers and quant developers.
2. Work on modern software practices: agile, CI/CD, test automation, cloud infrastructure.
3. Drive the development of next-generation tax optimization tools.
4. Create wealth management and brokerage services accessible to all.
5. Design interfaces connecting our Robo-advisor with internal services and external systems.
6. Contribute data-driven ideas to generate business value.
7. Improve data pipelines to meet evolving requirements.
8. Automate trading algorithms that autonomously manage billions in assets and react to market movements and client requests.
9. Support the tax team, investment managers, trading, backend, and wealth management teams.

Qualifications include:

• Excellent university degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or similar.
• Passion for financial markets and tax challenges.
• Knowledge in econometrics, portfolio optimization, risk modeling.
• Experience with convex optimization libraries (cvxpy, scipy, cvxopt).
• Quantitative modeling and data-driven decision skills.
• Python software development and design expertise.
• Interest in our tech stack: Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, SQL; Java/Kotlin is a plus.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Clear, concise communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive, independent work style with good time management.
