We are seeking a Solution Engineering Senior Manager for our HSL team in Germany. The successful candidate will be passionate about team development, customer engagement and will partner with Sales to deliver the best solutions for our prospects and customers. The SE Senior Manager will work closely with Sales Leaders and the Sales team to drive growth, and take a strategic view to get us to the next stage of our journey. HLS is a strategic growth market and it we are looking for an individual with in depth experience in the industry and a passionate, business first mindset. You will have exceptional leadership, communication, strategic, analytical, and consulting skills.
Your impact and responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing Solution Engineering team in a rapidly evolving AI-driven market
Lead and support a business and goto market strategy for the HLS industry.
Develop your team, encourage a growth mindset and openly recognize success
Hire, mentor, and retain top talent while ensuring career growth and succession planning
Champion Salesforce values and provide exemplary leadership
Be a player-coach, actively working with their team members to solve difficult problems, and coordinating corporate or external resources when required
Develop and execute strategic growth plans in collaboration with Sales teams
Work closely with Sales VPs to develop industry and account strategy in order to develop a Solution Engineering team best suited to their Industry or Territory
Act as an evangelist of the organisation to various internal stakeholders and create meaningful collaboration strategies to enable a team selling environment
Build exec level business and IT relationships with our most strategic customers
Drive transformational change and innovation in solution selling
Build C-level relationships to strengthen partnerships and drive revenue
Recognise and appreciate the nuances of managing a combination of Strategic and run-rate deals spread across an Industry portfolio: maintaining a high velocity while keeping an eye on the large strategic deals is key
Communicate the vision and strategy and continuously align with short to medium term goals to ensure your team is aligned to the company strategy
Build a strong network of internal resources such as Product Marketing, Development and Sales Management.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of front-line leadership experience requested + experience in a fast-paced environment
HLS industry expertise
Candidate will have extensive experience leading and participating in complex Solution Engineering organizations
Candidate will possess excellent analytic capabilities, be organized and able to work many tasks at the same time – vocally advocating for functional and technical excellence
Must have excellent fundamental Sales Skills (Value and Solution Selling) and advanced leadership skills
Proficient with CRM, Application Solution Selling and Integration technologies and be able to present to a business or technical audience
Participate in solution architectural discussions and planning – internally and externally
Be a force multiplier and have a passion for team and team members’ success by providing technical guidance, career development and mentoring
Maintain high morale and motivate the SE team to go above and beyond – serving as the inspiration to “never give up” and “do what it takes” attitude
Able to communicate equally with internal resources such as Executive Leadership, Product Development, Product Marketing and Sales Management to gain commitment and support
Ability to work cross functionally with Sales, Services, Customer Success teams, etc.
