Your responsibility as the Solution Specialist for Medical Device Software Development is to advise and support clients in the medical technology and life science sectors throughout the initiation and realization of software development projects. You will provide your expertise at every stage, from technical conception to the implementation of ground-breaking medical devices that shape the market.

Your tasks include:

1. Creating client presentations, project concepts, offers, and other materials for communication and client acquisition.
2. Advising clients on product definition, design, technical implementation, and project success.
3. Establishing new software development projects and serving as the technical leader during initial project phases.
4. Producing expert publications and presentations for industry media and events.
5. Building trustworthy collaborations and relationships with decision-makers at client organizations.
6. Identifying requirements, obstacles, and potential solutions within client organizations.

Additionally, you should possess:

1. Extensive experience in IT as a software architect, developer, or consultant.
2. Background in medical technology or life sciences.
3. Experience leading software development teams.
4. Expertise in creating, developing, documenting, and ensuring quality of medical device software solutions.
5. Proficiency in software development for Linux and Windows using C++, C#, .NET, embedded and desktop environments.
6. Preferably experience with protocols like SDC, gRPC, MQTT, and application technologies for medical device interoperability.
7. Additional experience in cloud solutions, web apps, IoT, mobile apps, and languages like Java, TypeScript, Python.
8. Knowledge of medical standards such as HL7 FHIR, DICOM, IEEE 11073 SDC, ISO 13485, IEC 62304.
9. Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, especially SCRUM, and setting up technical project infrastructure.
10. Understanding of cybersecurity requirements in healthcare.
11. Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
12. Proficiency in English, and preferably German.
13. Willingness to travel.
14. Client-oriented mindset with sales and business development affinity.
