About the position

As part of our international PSImetals development team of about 70 experts working on planning, production processes, and quality assurance in the metal industry, your tasks will include:

• Adapting and further developing our production management software PSImetals to meet the evolving challenges in the metals industry (Industry 4.0)
• Consulting on project and customer process optimization and software use
• Planning, implementing, and commissioning solutions with worldwide projects
• Mapping business processes through design, development, and configuration
• Ensuring quality during development
• Conducting developer tests

Job Requirements

• Degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent qualifications
• Knowledge of Java/JEE or related languages
• Experience with modern software development methods
• Proficiency in German and English, spoken and written
• Passion for designing solutions in production environments using modern methods

Beyond technical skills, successful candidates demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and independence. Knowledge of the metals industry or additional language skills are advantageous, as are further IT skills.
