About the Role
At Workday, our Account Executives for Large Enterprise are vital members of our Field Sales Operations team.
Focusing on net new revenue, they drive Workday's growth by onboarding new customers. This team plays a crucial role in guiding clients to transition from legacy platforms to our enterprise management cloud. We prioritize partnering with customers to craft solutions that deliver lasting value and ensure ongoing satisfaction. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing strategies to prioritize, target, and close key opportunities within the assigned territory of large enterprise clients headquartered in Germany.
- Performing account planning in collaboration with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
- Initiating and supporting sales of Workday solutions to global large enterprise prospects, emphasizing our value proposition.
- Building relationships with new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting clients with Workday solutions, especially core financials.
- Negotiating deals with C-Suite executives to close opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate customer, prospect, pipeline, and forecast data.

About You
Basic Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS/cloud solutions to C-level executives from a field sales role.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to meet quotas and manage multiple deals.
- Experience with longer sales cycles (12+ months), including prospecting.
Other Qualifications
- Understanding of the industry’s competitive landscape, staying updated on trends and customer needs to position Workday solutions effectively.
- Ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with internal teams on account strategies for prospecting and territory management.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
