Job Description:

Purpose and Scope: The Patient Account Representative - Collections provides administrative support to collections operations, ensuring timely claim payments and minimizing bad debt. They deliver excellent customer service through effective communication.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve routine outstanding claims.
  • Generate and analyze reports to resolve patient account issues.
  • Assist in resolving overdue payments.
  • Ensure timely receipt and processing of claim payments, including reconciliation.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and document activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from customers or vendors.
  • Mentor other staff as applicable.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned.

Additional responsibilities may include focus on specific departments or locations as detailed in addenda.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Minimum Education:
  • High School Diploma required
Experience and Skills:
