The Data Architecture & Management Team is a diverse group located mainly in Germany, across Europe. The team defines global data architecture guidelines and is responsible for data management topics, including data quality.

Meaningful & Challenging - Your Tasks

1. Business Information Model: Work closely with other architects to develop the Business Information Model, serving as a crucial blueprint.
2. Architecture Modelling: Develop and maintain architecture and business process models aligned with business requirements, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability for various data-related use cases.
3. Data Governance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership and stewardship, and develop common data domain models across business units.
4. Data Catalogue: Implement architecture best practices to create a common business vocabulary that helps stakeholders understand and communicate about data assets, including structure, usage, and governance.
5. Data Storage: Evaluate and select appropriate data storage solutions considering scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
6. Data Monetization: Identify revenue opportunities from data assets and collaborate to create data products and services.

Authentic & Ambitious - Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields with extensive experience in IT and data architecture & management.
• Proven experience working with stakeholders from different countries and backgrounds.
• Hands-on experience with architecture & business process modelling and implementing data architecture principles in multiple projects.
• Good knowledge of Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Integration concepts, Azure data technologies, data monetization strategies, and successful implementations.
• Strong proficiency with data catalogue tools like Erwin-DIS, Collibra, Informatica.
• Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks, algorithms, and their integration into data architecture.
• Proficiency in English.

• Work from anywhere in Germany, including all offices from Hamburg to Munich. For more flexibility, go on workation for up to 20 days per year within Europe.
