Your Role

The opportunity… The business has a unique chance to realign global business processes and prepare the entire Group for the future. Currently, around 14,000 employees use existing SAP ERP systems, processing over 50 million transactions monthly. ZEISS aims to standardize and harmonize various ERP systems from different companies across the Group during the transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA. The goal is to align closely with SAP standards and streamline processes across all segments and countries, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, speed, flexibility, and compliance. This project is both exciting and complex, with FIT4 being a key driver in implementing the Company’s #agenda25 initiative.

Your Role

ZEISS is seeking a passionate, dynamic Business Process Consultant to join this transformative period. The successful candidate will collaborate with business and IT experts to gather requirements and specify process adaptations. You will analyze business needs in relation to the global SAP template and support end-to-end workstreams in designing process adaptations to the global template.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate the analysis and development of global end-to-end Record-to-Record processes with business representatives from ZEISS MED segment and IT experts.
  2. Enhance, build, and test existing SAP templates; add functionalities for process adaptations to the global template.
  3. Support change control and demand management for ZEISS entities implementing SAP S/4HANA.
  4. Provide expertise on current processes to help design future processes, identifying handover points and interfaces.
  5. Prepare decisions on to-be process designs within workstreams and with ZEISS MED process owners.
  6. Act as a coordinator within the ZEISS MED segment to facilitate efficient design and drive transformation.
  7. Participate in agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
  8. Assist in creating training concepts and documentation.

Your Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Up to 2 years of relevant experience, especially in Finance and Controlling.
  3. Deep understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report processes like P&L design, internal accounting, and integration with financial systems (RAR, intercompany sales, pricing procedures).
  4. Proven experience in managing business requirements and designing business processes.
  5. Experience with SAP R/3, and ideally SAP S/4HANA, along with relevant third-party systems.
  6. Relevant industry knowledge.
  7. Excellent conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  8. Ability to network and work effectively in intercultural, interdisciplinary global teams.
  9. Business fluency in English and German (mandatory).
