Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Global Logistics team at our Hero Hub in Berlin.

As Senior Technical Program Manager, you will work with cross-functional technical teams and senior stakeholders to achieve company objectives. You will be part of a team working closely with our SVP & Senior Tech Management, driving strategic planning and delivery.

In our Logistics Team, you'll address challenges to make last-mile delivery efficient, affordable, and sustainable, directly impacting riders, customers, and merchants worldwide. Your efforts will help optimize operations and support expansion into new areas like grocery and retail.

You will own and drive complex technical initiatives across various teams and domains.

You will assist senior management in planning and executing strategic initiatives focusing on Reliability, Security, Cost-efficiency, and technical migrations.

Using your problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, prioritization, project management skills, and technical knowledge, you will help product and engineering leads implement complex changes.

You will ensure transparency through reporting and KPIs, regularly updating senior management and stakeholders on progress.

You will foster engineering excellence and support continuous improvement in engineering practices to deliver valuable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in technical project or program management, delivery leadership, or technical team leadership.
• Proven experience leading technical programs in a multinational, fast-paced environment, such as infrastructure migrations, API development, third-party tooling migration, or security and compliance initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience with technical documentation and tools like Confluence and JIRA; organized and structured work approach.
• Excellent people skills, stakeholder collaboration, negotiation, and risk management abilities.
