What awaits you?

You design, develop, and operate the production critical applications together with your feature team. You collaborate with other teams and shape the further development of our IT landscape and our architecture patterns into resilient, high available and flexible IT systems. Together with our business department you define the supply chain and warehouse processes and implement them in modern microservice based applications consisting of front- and backend developments. You work with very enthusiastic BMW teams distributed across the globe. You will be part of an environment that believes in lifelong learning with continuous exchange of knowledge and shape the future of BMW Group IT.

What should you bring along?

University degree in information technologies, industrial engineering, business administration, mathematics’ with focus on IT or a comparable field. Several years of experience in software development and architecture of software development. Profound knowledge in backend development (JAVA) and/or frontend development (Angular, Typescript, Javascript). Profound knowledge in modern software development involving microservice architecture, Kubernetes/Docker/Kafka deployed to Azure or AWS. Experience in agile software development. Ideally experience in writing concepts and implementing solutions for data analytics (Machine Learning, Big Data, etc). Fluent speaking and writing in German and English. You are passionate about technology, complexity and the evolutionary development of IT landscapes and architectures.
