Your contribution:
Ensure best-in-class Customer Satisfaction and support CI processes.
Lead team for integrated service from order entry to order fulfilment.
Lead and initiate (sub-) projects to improve Customer Excellence-related processes and costs.
Lead and support (sub-) projects to improve distribution regarding supply chain master plan.
Meet service levels and inventory targets in balance with cost targets.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure intensive relationship and communication with customers and Sales responsible.
Assure appropriate communication to the customers.
Lead, support, and develop team and team members.
Lead daily meetings to discuss and solve shortages or other delivery issues in a timely manner.
Initial set-up of new customers (processes, master data, special requirements, etc.) in close collaboration with external and internal customers.
Assure and measure service and logistics performance (KPI’s)
Monitor daily business through regular review on targets (KPIs).
Report based on standardized KPI metrics (e.g. on-time quantity fill, perfect service, etc.)
Close collaboration with carriers, service providers, and shipping companies.
Assure all defined relevant Import/Export procedures (e.g. BOS Standards and work instructions).
Recognize deviations from established procedures and collaborate with Trade Compliance Manager to define counter actions.
Realize defined and committed counteractions.
Support and assist in customs authorizations and audits.
Manage relationships with export-related authorities in dedicated countries (e.g., Chamber of Commerce, Customs):
Monitor, record, analyze, and report on activities and results, e.g., customs audits and incidents, and make recommendations in collaboration with Trade Compliance.
Maintain all relevant systems (e.g., ATLAS, Intra-EC trade statistics) within the export function.
Education, knowledge, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship with fundamental experience in logistics, sales, or similar.
Solid experience in a sales, production, or logistics environment.
Experience leading a small team.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP.
Awareness of strategic responses to external influences, such as legislation, fuel costs, and environmental pressure.
Experience with the logistics of dangerous goods shipments.
Organized and good time management skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge in export declarations and other export relevant processes is advantageous.
Ideally experience with AEB, preferred.
Comprehensive knowledge of preferential origin and basics in export control.
Fluency in English and German – both written and spoken.
