Position: Logistics Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Logistics Specialist to join our team in Berlin or Erlangen (hybrid working model).

Your tasks
  1. Execute just-in-time logistics of materials and equipment across suppliers, manufacturing locations, and project sites.
  2. Plan, execute, and monitor shipping activities to comply with on-time delivery and financial metrics.
  3. Coordinate customs clearance processes across involved parties.
  4. Utilize planning and forecasting tools to simplify logistics processes and communicate with Logistics Service providers.
  5. Contribute as a regional subject matter expert on operational logistics best practices.
  6. Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and others to deliver strategic goals.
  7. Engage and support projects related to cost reduction, logistics process improvements, and other initiatives.
  8. Execute logistics processes for dangerous goods shipping, ensuring safety and quality in liaison with carriers and forwarders.
  9. Support regional warehousing strategy.
Your skills
  • +5 years of experience in logistics, with project logistics experience considered a plus.
  • Experience handling and shipping dangerous goods.
  • Knowledge of the EMEA logistics market.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to handle volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
  • Enjoy working in an international, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and business fluent in German.
