The opportunity to contribute to a global business process realignment, standardizing and harmonizing ERP systems across the ZEISS Group, focusing on efficiency, effectiveness, speed, flexibility, and compliance. The project is part of the company’s #agenda25 initiative and involves transitioning from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA.

The Role

ZEISS seeks a passionate Business Expert in S/4HANA Master Data Management (MDM) to manage business requirements and design process adaptations. You should have deep understanding of master data management processes within an SAP environment, along with excellent conceptual, communication, and results-oriented skills to navigate this complex program.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage regional business requirements, including data design, within the global SAP S/4HANA template, conducting fit-gap analyses under leadership.
• Drive process adaptations towards harmonization and standardization, liaising with business experts on preparatory work such as data cleansing.
• Guide and steer junior business experts in requirements analysis and process modeling.
• Design and execute test cases, conducting functional end-to-end testing in SAP S/4HANA.
• Contribute to regional roll-in projects, supporting training material creation and end-user training as needed.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Over 2 years of relevant experience in Master Data Management, with a preference for longer experience.
• Deep understanding of master data domains such as material and business partner data, including variant configuration management.
• Proven experience in business requirements management and process design.
• Experience with SAP R/3 and SAP S/4HANA, as well as third-party systems.
• Industry knowledge relevant to the role.
• Excellent conceptual, communication, and results-oriented skills.
• Ability to work in intercultural, interdisciplinary global teams and build networks.
• Fluent in English and another language.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight and occasional weekend work.
