The Customer Logistics Specialist is responsible for all daily tasks relating to the processing and handling of customer orders for the Logistics department. The aim of the position is to ensure that all customer processes are dealt with in a timely, efficient and responsible manner for IRISO. These include ordering confirmations, delivery of orders to the customer and invoicing in Dynamics. The Customer Logistics Specialist reports directly to the Logistics Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and create customer orders in Dynamics
- Create order confirmations
- Create invoices and credit notes in Dynamics
- Collect delivery plans from customer-specific portals and format them into MS Office format (Excel Upload Lists)
- Maintain customer forecasts in MS Excel
- Correspondence with customers and colleagues (communication in English and German)
- Support for national and international customers
- Create, check and update delivery plans
- Requirements calculation for consignation deliveries in Dynamics based on customer data (receipt from customer portals or pdf-files)
- Create picking lists and release order delivery
- Check open delivery dates and send reminders regarding overdue production dates
- Check availability of material and material requirements
- Monitor inventory for customers and consignation stock
- Invoicing of consignment withdrawals per customer (based on SBIs)
- Other related tasks
- Cover for colleagues during holiday and sickness
Education:
- Vocational training (industrial, clerical) and / or
- Bachelors’ Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field
Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant business experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Customer Logistics procedures and processes
Required skills:
- Good understanding of the European Automotive Market
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Fluent in German and English (written and oral)
- Ability to work well with others and mediate, if necessary
- Technical capacity to learn parts and applications
- Computer competency (experienced skills in Dynamics, MS Outlook)
- Working in a small team with room for individuality
