Job Description

What you will be working on:

Team Management & Project Execution:

1. Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple AI projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
2. Translate project ideas and requirements into actionable plans, challenging and refining them as needed.
3. Work closely with product teams to integrate AI features into Elgato products.
4. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AI professionals, including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and R&D Engineers.

Technical Expertise & Innovation:

1. Maintain a strong understanding of current and emerging AI technologies, particularly in Generative AI, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision.
2. Work closely with product teams to integrate AI features, including Large Language Models (LLMs), into Elgato products to enhance user experiences.
3. Experience in context-aware AI, predictive modeling, or workflow automation.
4. Ability to optimize models for low-latency, real-time execution (on-device AI is a plus).
5. Provide hands-on technical contributions, balancing managerial responsibilities with technical involvement.
6. Lead the development and customization of Generative AI solutions in Desktop apps (Windows and macOS).
7. Collaborate with DevOps to ensure the development of robust data pipelines and cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

What we are looking for:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a strong track record of developing and deploying AI solutions.
3. 2+ years of experience in team leadership and management.
4. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
5. Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), NLP, and computer vision.
6. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
7. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
9. Fluency in both written and spoken English; German skills are an advantage.
10. A passion for AI and a desire to drive innovation.
11. A passion for the Gamer and Content Creator Space.
12. Optional: Proficiency in C#, TypeScript, or Swift.
