Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to take responsibility for planning, executing, and managing product tests for our remote I/O systems. In this role, you will provide technical guidance to an international test team, collaborate across departments, and ensure that we deliver reliable, high-quality products.

• Responsibility for the test process and product testing for our remote I/O systems, ensuring compliance with functional safety requirements.
• Technical management of an international team of test analysts and testers, promoting a culture of cooperation and responsibility.
• Developing and implementing the test strategy, creating and monitoring detailed test plans, and controlling the entire test cycle from preparation to completion, including functional safety aspects.
• Ensuring high quality standards in all tests and continuous improvement of test processes and methods.
• Communicating with stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and challenges.
• Cross-functional collaboration with project managers, developers, product and quality managers, and other test teams.
• Improving test execution and processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in testing products, preferably remote I/O or related technical industries, with knowledge of functional safety standards like IEC and EN ISO.
• Experience leading international project teams and risk management.
• Expertise in embedded systems, test tools, black box testing, regression testing, etc.
• Knowledge of products such as microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols like Ethernet/FSoE, PROFINET/PROFIsafe.
• Understanding of product approval processes with cybersecurity considerations.
• ISTQB certification at foundation level; test manager level preferred.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Methodical, structured work approach, strong communication and conflict resolution skills, and team motivation abilities.
